Alan Baybutt & Sons Ltd is a family business, growing and packing Iceberg Lettuce, Romaine Lettuce and Celery.  We supply major UK supermarkets and also maintain an extensive wholesale market customer base.

Farming has been in the family for generations, with Alan’s father Thomas farming in the 1950’s.  Alan continued in the family business and  in 1993 when his son’s Mark, Russell and Jamie were old enough to join the business, Alan Baybutt & Sons was formed and has since seen much in the way of investments to improve efficiency and encourage environmentally friendly production techniques. 

Alan Baybutt & Sons Ltd  pride themselves on producing  the best  quality produce, whilst achieving recognition with  quality assurance schemes  such as Assured Produce to maintain  high standards of production techniques. 

The business now farms over 700 Acres of  land in the North West of England, 10 miles from the City of Preston and 10 miles from the coastal town of Southport.  Map & Directions
